Palacký University offers several dormitories for exchange students. The most popular ones are Šmeralova and Envelopa. Apply early through your home university's coordinator.

Olomouc is walkable and has great trams. A monthly student pass is ~200 CZK. Use RegioJet or České dráhy for trips to Prague or Brno.

EU students need their EHIC card. Non-EU students must have health insurance valid in Czechia. Ensure it covers doctor visits and hospitalization.

Cafeterias (menza) offer meals for 60–90 CZK. Top up your student card to pay. Popular spots are at Šmeralova and the Faculty of Science.

Non-urgent: University clinic at Studentská 6. Emergency: Hospital (FNOL) at I. P. Pavlova 6. General emergency number is 112.

Palacký University has gyms, pools, and tennis courts. Sign up for PE department (KTVS) courses for free or cheap sports.
